Our Story
Uwezo Security Services Limited was founded in 2011 in Kampala with a clear purpose — to give Ugandan families, businesses, and organisations access to professional, trustworthy security they could actually rely on. The name "Uwezo" means capability in Swahili, and for over 15 years that word has defined how we show up for every client.
What started as a small team in Ntinda has grown into one of Uganda's most respected security companies. Today, our team of over 200 trained and vetted security professionals serves hundreds of clients — from gated homes and schools to banks, NGOs, and large commercial sites across the country. We are fully licensed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and proud of the trust our clients place in us every day.
